Your children have gone through the swimming lessons and now they're ready to take on a new challenge.  A challenge that is not just 'normal swimming lessons', but swimming in a club with a difference.  Similar to our other activities, we don't do everything in the normal standard way. 

Joining the Edusports Splash Squad will mean that you join a swimming club with a difference.  Whilst, we are not going to teach you right from the beginning of lessons (there are other providers who currently do that), we will help you to develop your technique, once you can swim a width of the pool.  We will help you to build your water confidence, and give you a good time, developing your skills through diving, water polo, fitness, stamina and much more.  We will help you to ensure that you can build on everything that you've currently learnt in your swimming lesson.  Additionally, not only with all of those fantastic parts, but we're also going to deliver and put you through the Rookie Lifeguard Qualifications, allowing you to develop key life-saving skills. 

This club style has been developed from what you've told us you want:  a club where you can swim and have fun, still develop your technique, and swim for enjoyment, rather than always being competitive.  

Splash Squad is expanding in September 2026 to two nights. Due to the success of the first night, we've been lucky in securing some further pool space and from September 2026, we'll be running on both a Monday and Thursday evening.

Each session will be held at Bedford School. Places are limited, so please make sure you book early. We'll have at least 2 Instructors on each session, ideally more.  The Splash Squad session will be on a Monday and Thursday evening, term time, from 7:15pm to 8:15pm.  From 8:15pm to 8:45pm, the pool will then change layout slightly and on alternate weeks, we will be running a Rookie Lifeguard session. Equally, this is a time for us to be able to get the big floats out, so then everyone can have a good ol' bit of fun! Adults, you'll be welcome to join in this second session. Whilst there will be a nominal fee, our Swim Teachers will also be on hand to give advice and tips about technique if required.   Sign up for places is by the term.
