Holiday Activities - Activity Days
The holidays, a time of fun and time to chill. We're changing up the activities again! This time, you're going to be able to book onto a variety of day activities encompassed in a mixture of different themes.
Look at the description below to identify the sorts of activities, which we might be doing within those activities. Once you've decided what theme you would like to do, just book onto that day. Look further down to see an overview of the dates and find out when we're doing what!
You tell us, our activity days are different. Well let's tell you why! Our new format is planned to help build solid foundations on which skills can be developed. With lots of hands on activities, there will also be some theory based input with the activities being aimed at all participants tailored to individuals abilities and skills as these become known. As always, our Adventure Seeker will be involved in every aspect of the activity, so it is not just about doing the activity. They get to see and learn the behind the scenes too! This brings in more skills and development, across the whole day, where they also learn about the safety aspects too. Development of individual skills will be through coaching, encouragement, activity goals and focussed feedback. We know this approach works and gives our participants better engagement and always with some 'take away' skills - great for future development.
A lunch is included for the summer holidays.
The activities listed below give you an idea of what to expect on your activity day. Please note that some of these activities may not happen due to factors beyond our control.
- Survival* - Fire building and lighting, den building, camouflage, cooking on a fire, animal tracking, zombie apocalypse

Payment can be made online for the activity days or by childcare vouchers. If you wish to pay by childcare vouchers, please contact us and ask for an invoice. You will still need to book online. Please note payment must be received before the activity for your child to take place. We're sure you won't want to, however please be aware refunds will only be issued, if the activity is full and we are able to refill the space. If the space is cancelled within one week of the activity, no refund will be issued.
If you have a voucher code (HAF Participants), please enter that into the discount code box (Applicable to Summer only)
