Come and join us for the challenge week.  It's a week like no other.  In this week, you're going to be challenged, whilst making memories, having fun and making new friends. 

Challenge Week 2026 returns.  For those who don't know, challenge week is more than just a normal activity week. These have been very popular in previous years and have seen us do many different activities from surfing, to expeditions, climbing, water sports and so much more! 

There are only 10 spaces and one of those has already gone!  

You'll have 2 Instructors with your children the whole week. The same Instructors, who build the trust, rapport and excitement of each day. 

This time, we're going to be doing: 

- Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August.

- The Plan

- Monday - Warm up day.  Activities on site at Little Paxton. Team challenges for the team to get to know each other.

- Tuesday - Expedition planning day. Orienteering challenge and learning how to cook on Trangias as well as other activities too.  Sleeping over at Paxton.

- Wednesday - Expedition - Day 1 on the South Coast.  We're currently looking at hiring a RIB out into the Solent, where they will be needing to navigate around various areas.   From when we come off the boat, we will then stay down on the South Coast, probably using one of the campsites that we've used before, cooking dinner on Trangias, camping for the night.

- Thursday - Expedition Day 2.  Following a further activity, we'll then come back to Bedford. We'll be heading to the beach, then a water park which gets requested every time we go down to the South Coast. Before coming back to stay at Paxton on the last night. 

- Friday - Cool down day. AquaPark visit and other activities, as well as a debrief from the whole week. 

The cost for the full week is £595, however you can sign up now with a £50 deposit and pay the rest over the next few months. However, please bear with us as we're still working this out with the finer costs. This is the only week in the year where we're planning to do a powerboating activity on the Solent with children (and this is what has put the cost up!). Participants have previously absolutely loved it though. 

Transport wise - you would only need to transport your child to a location within Bedford.  We will take them via our minibus / vehicles to all of the other locations. 

Each year, we build this based on the participants feedback and you can see a massive growth in them over the week.
